Directions to St Francis of Assisi Catholic Technology College
From M5 (Northbound)
- Follow signs for M6 Southbound, London.
- On joining the M6, exit at J7 almost immediately (signposted A34).
- Follow directions below from M6 Junction 7.
From M6 Junction 7
- Take the A34, signposted Birmingham NE.
- At first traffic lights turn left on to A4041.
- After 2 km at the first island take first exit signposted Aldridge.
- After 3 km turn right at traffic lights on to B4151, signposted Sutton Coldfield.
- At first island (Foley Arms) take first exit, B4152.
- At next island take second exit signposted Aldridge (Erdington Road).
- On entering 30 mph limit, school is 500m on the right over the brow of the hill just after Daniels Lane. The entrance is the 2nd turning on the right as the entrance.
From M6 Junction 9
- Follow Walsall Ring Road (South), A4148 and signposts for Sutton Coldfield.
- After 3 ½ km at second island take the third exit, B4151 signposted Sutton Coldfield.
- After 3 km go straight on at traffic lights.
- At first island (Foley Arms) take first exit, B4152.
- At next island take second exit signposted Aldridge (Erdington Road).
- On entering 30mph limit, school is 500m on the right over the brow of the hill just after Daniels Lane. The entrance is the 2nd turning on the right as the entrance.
From M6 Junction 10
- Follow Walsall Ring Road (North) and signposts for Lichfield.
- After 3 ½ km at small island take the second exit, A454 signposted Aldridge / Sutton Coldfield.
- After 4 km at island by The Elms PH in central Aldridge, take the third exit, A454 (continued).
- After 400 m with the church on your left, take the next turning right (Erdington Road).
- School is 400 m on the left. Use the 1st turning on the left as the entrance.
From A5/A461 Junction
- Take A461 (dual carriageway) signposted Walsall.
- After 3 km (Muckley Corner) turn left at traffic lights on to the A452.
- After 4 km by The Irish Harp PH turn right on to the A454 signposted Walsall / Aldridge.
- After 1 ½ km and 300m after entering 30mph limit turn left on to the Erdington Road.
- School is 400 m on the left. Use the 1st turning on the left as the entrance.

Parking
Please note that our parking facilities are restricted. If you are going to be at the school after 3:00 pm then please avoid parking along the bus lane which runs along the front of the school or within the entrance and exit.
Public Transport
The 156 bus (Birmingham to Brownhills and Brownhills to Birmingham) stops right next to the school. There is no local major train stations although Birmingham New Street and Walsall are within 15 miles. The closest station is Four Oaks which is on the Birmingham Cross City Line.
Arrival
All visitors must report to reception.
