The KNEX Challenge has been organised by the Walsall EBP and St. Francis of Assisi Design Technology department. The qualifying rounds have resulted in twenty year 6 pupils from primary schools in Staffordshire and Walsall Education Authorities taking part in the final on 26th June. The pupils will be designing and making a structure that will be tested to "destruction". The structural designs produced in the qualifying heats were exceptional which sets the standard for the final.
