Sixth Form students considering or studying Psychology, Sociology, Science and Law are invited to attend a Psychology Crime Conference at the University of Birmingham.

The outline of the programme is:

- Nature v Nurture: this lecture explores whether people who murder are born or made.

-Steve Cattell - a former prolific career burglar talks about his 25 years of life in prison (12 of which were in solitary confinement) and how he overcame his criminal addictions.

-Eyewitness testimony: this lecture explores how falible the human memory system is.

- Nick Yarris - talks about his 8,057 days on death row and how he was the first to use DNA evidence to prove his innocence.

- Stalking - Hamish Brown talks about his work within this area during his time with Scotland Yard.
