Year 12 and 13 Psychology students will be attending a Psychology Crime Conference in Birmingham today. The annual conference is relevant to Sixth Form students studying or wanting to study Psychology, Sociology, Science and Law. .....

The outline of the conference includes:

  • Professionals speaking on their areas of expertise ranging from offender profiling to case studies of kidnap, and murder
  • My life – guest speaker Bob Turney will talk about his life and experiences after spending 18 years of his early life drifting in and out of prison.
  • My life- guest speaker Steve Cattell tells of how he overcame his criminal lifestyle and addictions which began at the age of 10.

Pupils will leave school by coach at 9.20am. They will get back into school at approximately 4.30pm, where pupils will be required to make their own way home.
