On the 7th and 8th of July almost 300 pupils from 9 primary schools will visit St Francis of Assisi Design Technology department. They will be gaining experience in designing and making products in Textiles, Resistant Materials, Food Technology, System and Control and Graphic Products. All pupils will be making biscuits, taking home a T-Shirt with their own design placed on the front, making a mask based on an “animal” theme, learning how to control a “fairground display” and using computer aided design/manufacturing to make a key fob. Last year was a huge success and we are sure this year will also be enjoyed by everyone involved.
