Cross Country Champions!
On Tuesday 23rd October we took a team of pupils across to Streetly Sports College to compete in a Cross Country meeting. We entered a combined Year 7/ 8 team and a combined Year 9/10 team for both boys and girls. The other schools included Streetly, Aldridge and Barr Beacon. All pupils tried extremely hard and they were a credit to the school. They showed great respect towards each other and towards other schools. The Year 7/8 girls were overall winners in their age group with Sarah Gubbins finishing in 4th place, which we were very proud of!! The Year 9/10 girls also came first, with Nicole King finishing 2nd and Rachael Bostock in 3rd place. Overall a very successful night for St Francis!! Well done everyone!!
