Homework

At SFA we value the importance of homework and remove any barriers to accessing homework by offering Homework Club and by making the work paper-based. We know that by stretching and setting high expectations, that they meet them and then go on to excel.  Homework club is open every night to any student in any year group. Homework will be set weekly on Firefly for all subjects, and bi-weekly in KS3 Music, IT and Art. All students are given a homework timetable in September. All homework will be paper-based and involve reading and answering questions/activities. Students must bring their homework with them to the assigned deadline lesson to show the teacher and to assess it, there must be no gaps as this will constitute incomplete homework. If homework is not complete, or not present students will receive a same-day homework detention (next day for period 6).
