Post 18 Launch

We aim to ensure that our students are well prepared for life after the Sixth Form. They will develop a clear understanding of the wide variety of routes that are available for them to pursue such as choosing to study at university, securing an apprenticeship or employment. Throughout their A level studies, our students receive ongoing careers guidance and support from our Careers Advisor and the Sixth Form Leadership Team which will enable them to select wisely when it comes to their Post 18 pathway. In addition to this, we support and engage our students to develop the skills and attributes that are needed to succeed when progressing towards studying a university course or entering the world of work. The students also have the complete a work experience placement whilst completing their studies with us.

Important Dates

UCAS registration – Thursday 18th May. 

UCAS Convention – Monday 26th June.

Personal statements – draft copy is to be submitted on Unifrog to your tutor – Monday 19th June. 

SFA deadline for Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine/Science application – Friday 22nd September.

SFA deadline for all applications – Friday 13th October.
