This is scheduled for May/June prior to the Year 12 mock examination season. Our students are informed of the factors that they should consider when deciding on a university and apprenticeship. The different formats of university courses such as a foundation year, year abroad, year in the industry, deferred entry, full time and sandwiches courses. Similarly, the different apprenticeships options such as a sponsored degree, higher and degree level, the medical doctor and early years teacher apprenticeship, HNC and HNDs. They are also made aware of the importance of their prior assessments and mock examination results in determining their predicted grades, the UCAS tariff points, Russell Group universities and admissions tests. In addition to this, students are provided with information about Oxbridge and supported with completing their UCAS applications, researching for apprenticeships and producing their personal statement and/or a covering letter. Through the use of a guide and WAGOLL structures.
